In the year 25XX mankind has broken through the boundaries of science and technology to be to travel into both the heart of the earth, and the depths of space itself, however, this did not come without a price. Centuries of warfare, famine, plagues and death saw mankind dwindle from billions to only a scant few hundred millions. Due to this a new utopia know as Neo Athens was created to be able to support the budding remains of the species in an effort to keep them from total self-destruction. 

Guided by the omnipresent supercomputer A.I. know as the Matrix, the people who live within the domed city are now finding new ways in which to express themselves, the strength of which lay within advance cybernetics brought about by augmentations given to humanity by the military industrial complex who oversees the safety and prosperity of Neo Athens and the space colonies which hover within the planet's orbit.

You, as a young hopeful who has just moved here, will find out just who you are and what you desire by involving yourself within the life of the city, so long as you obey the rules of peace and non-violence. If you should feel that your blood runs hot for the need to fight, then the city council requests that you take your aggression out within the Arena. Also, avoid the UnderBelly, because even in times of glory such as these, riff-raff such as mutates have found a nest for which plague the citizenry from.
